Usually associated with Prague Spring, but many other things happened in 1968. There was a revolution in Paris, which led to student protests all over the world. Also in 1968 came the assassinations of Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. Conservatives such as Nixon and DeGaulle were elected in the United States and France, respectively.
