Significance: Contrast with Odysseus: ruthlessness versus cunning; hero only receives glory, not both like Odysseus; de-emphasizes the heroic sacrifice of death in battle. Similarities between Achilles/Patroclus relationship and Gilgamesh/Enkidu.
